Baked Tortilla Chips

Extremely fast, this chip recipe is super yummy and easy to make!  For this recipe I used the 3 lonely tortillas leftover from a previous night of enchiladas.  It made quite a few chips, although next time, I'll probably do 6 or 8 tortillas and make a family snack out of it during movie night!





Baked Tortilla Chips


Ingredients:



  • Flour tortillas 
  • Salt
  • Olive oil 


Directions:



  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Take tortillas and use a pastry brush(or any other type of brush)to brush olive oil on each side, stacking together, one on top of the other.
  • Using a pizza roller or knife, cut the flour tortillas like you would a pizza, making triangles.
  • Place the triangles on a baking pan so that they do not touch and put in the oven for 16 minutes, turning the pan around at about halfway through.
  • Once out of the oven sprinkle with salt and serve with salsa or other dip.


Serving Size:  3 tortillas make about 36 chips. Cut up more tortillas the more chips you'd like.
